Physical Infrastructure

Roads, power, water, and sewage are typically claimed as monopolies by the State. How do we provide businesses that make changing your utility company as simple as changing your bank?

As States fail and budgets are cut back, government workers will be laid off.  Government equipment and facilities will stand idle.  The demand for infrastructure will continue, but the relationship with customers will no longer be collective coercion.  How will new entrepreneurial managers restructure the factors that become available to adapt to the different market?
